The Queen's Cancer Research Institute is inviting applications for the 2020 Craig Jury Memorial Summer Studentship in Cancer Research.
This studentship is open to full-time undergraduate BSc and MD students in the Faculties of Health Sciences and Arts & Science at Queen's, who wish to participate in a summer studentship in the Queen’s Cancer Research Institute. Preference will be given to 4th year undergraduate students who are planning to enter medical school or graduate studies at the Cancer Research Institute in the fall, and to Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Canada.
The Craig Jury Memorial Summer Studentship in Cancer Research endowment fund was established through a gift from Mrs. Erma Jury, to provide summer research studentships to full-time undergraduate students on the basis of high academic achievement, and a demonstrated interest in cancer research.
Interested applicants are to submit:
- a copy of their CV and transcript
- a letter of introduction explaining why they are interested in working in the QCRI
- who their supervisor will be
- the duration of the studentship (maximum 3 months)
- letter of support from the proposed supervisor
